Credit cards can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Used wisely, credit cards can offer you a convenient alternative to paying cash, as well as contributing positively to your credit history. Used foolishly, credit cards can leave you with mountains of debt, and send you into a downward spiral towards financial ruin. With the potential hazards involved, it's no wonder that some choose to conclude that credit cards are "evil". But are they really? Not when you use a bit of common sense.
